Account Manager

Roblox account manager: every alt one click away

The BetterBLOX Roblox account manager lets you save and switch between as many Roblox accounts as you want from your Windows or Mac desktop, without pasting a single cookie. Keep your main and every alt one click apart. To run two at the same time, add BetterStrap alongside it.

How the account manager works

Three steps from a folder of logins to a one-click multi-account setup.

1

Save your accounts

Add each account once through the normal Roblox sign-in. The launcher keeps every session ready. No cookies to copy, no passwords to hand over.

2

Switch in one click

Pick any saved account from the list to jump straight into it. No logging out, no re-entering a password, no two-step prompt every time.

3

Want two at once?

BetterLauncher runs one client at a time. Add BetterStrap, our free bootstrapper, and its multi-instance mode opens a separate Roblox client per account.

Multi-account launching

Every account, one click apart

Trading between your own accounts, testing a build on an alt while playing on your main, or farming a limited-time event on two profiles. Switching accounts becomes a single click instead of a logout dance. Try the flow below.

  • Launch any saved account in one click
  • Sessions are stored encrypted for your OS user, never in a browser profile
  • No logging out, no password re-entry between switches
  • Label alts so a trading, building or testing account is easy to find
  • Two clients at once? That is BetterStrap, and the two apps sit happily side by side

Illustrative demo — no real accounts or cookies. BetterLauncher stores each saved session encrypted for your OS user and launches whichever one you set active — one Roblox client at a time.

Safety

Your password never leaves Roblox’s own login

The old way trips antivirus

Older Roblox account managers ask you to copy your .ROBLOSECURITY login cookie into the app. That cookie is a full session key. Handing it to a program is exactly why those tools carry scary warnings and get flagged as false positives by Windows Defender.

The BetterBLOX way is signed

You sign in through the normal Roblox login, and each session is encrypted on your machine for your OS user. If a captcha or 2FA blocks that login, pasting a cookie is there as a fallback and the value is encrypted the same way. Either way nothing leaves your PC, and the launcher is code-signed — through Overwolf on Windows, notarised by Apple on macOS — so it behaves like the trusted app it is.

Alts are allowed, ban evasion isn't

We want to be straight with you: keeping more than one Roblox account is completely normal and against no rule. Builders keep a clean testing alt, traders keep a dedicated trading account, and plenty of players just like a separate profile for a different friend group. A multi-account launcher only makes moving between those accounts faster.

The one line that matters: don't use an alt to get around a ban or a moderation action. That is what Roblox actually prohibits, and no tool changes it. BetterBLOX helps you manage accounts you legitimately own, nothing more, nothing sketchy.

Roblox account manager FAQ

The safety and multi-account questions players ask most.

Is using a Roblox account manager safe?

A Roblox account manager is safe when it signs you in the normal way and never asks for your .ROBLOSECURITY cookie. The BetterLauncher is code-signed — through Overwolf on Windows, notarised by Apple on macOS — so it does not trip the antivirus false-positives that unsigned, cookie-based managers are known for. The risk with older tools comes from pasting a login cookie, not from having more than one account.

Can you get banned for having multiple Roblox accounts?

No. Roblox allows alternate accounts, and plenty of players keep a main and one or more alts. What is against the rules is using an alt to evade a ban or moderation action. A multi-account launcher only makes switching between your own legitimate accounts easier; it does nothing that Roblox prohibits.

Do I have to paste my Roblox cookie to switch accounts?

Not normally. BetterLauncher signs each account in through Roblox’s own login and keeps the session encrypted for your OS user, and your password is never handled by a third party. Pasting a .ROBLOSECURITY value is offered as a fallback for when a captcha or 2FA blocks that embedded login, and it stays encrypted for your OS user on your own machine. Cookie-based account managers make that paste the only way in; here it is the exception.

How do I run two Roblox accounts at the same time?

That one needs BetterStrap, our bootstrapper. Its multi-instance mode runs a separate Roblox client per account, so you can play, trade or test on two accounts side by side on the same PC. BetterLauncher saves every account and switches between them in a click, but it runs one client at a time.

Does the account manager work on Mac?

Yes. BetterLauncher ships a native macOS build alongside Windows, signed and notarised by Apple, and saved accounts work the same on both. Multi-instance launching is a BetterStrap feature, also on both platforms, though on macOS it has to be switched on in Settings first. The download page has the Apple silicon and Intel builds of each.

The account manager ships inside the Roblox launcher for Windows and Mac. Running two clients at once is a feature of BetterStrap, our Roblox bootstrapper. Both ship a macOS build too.
