How to play Roblox on two accounts at once
To play Roblox on two accounts at once, you need multi-instance launching, the ability to run more than one Roblox window on the same PC. A launcher that supports it opens each account in its own client, so you can play both side by side without logging out and back in.
The BetterBLOX Roblox account manager saves your accounts so each one is a click away, and BetterStrap adds the multi-instance launching that runs them side by side on Windows and Mac. You sign each account in through the normal Roblox window, so there are no logins to juggle.
Why Roblox blocks a second window by default
Roblox uses a single-instance lock: launching the game while it is already open just brings the existing window forward instead of opening a new one. That is why clicking Play on a second account seems to do nothing. Two accounts at once means getting past that lock cleanly.
The safe way: multi-instance launching
A multi-instance launcher lets a separate Roblox client run for each account, so you can be in two servers, or the same server, at the same time. The right approach signs you into each account through Roblox’s own sign-in window, with no shady background processes. Add your accounts once, then launch them whenever you like.
Is playing two accounts allowed?
Having and playing your own alt account is allowed on Roblox. Plenty of players keep a main and an alt. The line is ban evasion and rule-breaking: using alts to dodge moderation is not okay. Multi-account launching is a convenience tool for your own accounts, nothing more.
Try it: switch between saved accounts

Two-account questions
Can you run two Roblox accounts at the same time?
Yes, with a multi-instance launcher. Roblox normally allows only one game window per PC, so a second launch just focuses the first. A launcher that enables multi-instance removes that lock, letting a separate Roblox client run for each account at the same time.
Is having a Roblox alt account allowed?
Yes. Roblox permits players to have more than one account, and playing your own alt is fine. What is against the rules is using alts to evade a ban or to break game rules. Multi-account tools are for convenience, not for getting around moderation.
Do you need to paste a cookie to switch accounts?
Not normally. BetterLauncher signs you into each account through the normal Roblox window, so you do not have to touch your .ROBLOSECURITY cookie. A paste option is there for when a captcha or 2FA blocks that window, and what it stores is encrypted for your OS user. Be wary of any tool where pasting a cookie is the only way in.
Can I play two accounts on Mac?
Yes. BetterStrap ships a native macOS build, so multi-instance launching works on a Mac as well as on Windows. You can also sign into different accounts in separate browser profiles, and the free BetterBLOX extension works in your Mac browser either way.
