How do you install a Roblox extension?

To install a Roblox extension, open your browser's official store, find the extension, and click Add. The whole thing takes a couple of clicks and no downloaded files. In Chrome you use the Chrome Web Store, in Edge the Add-ons store, and in Firefox the Firefox Add-ons site. Once it is added the extension activates on roblox.com by itself.

Yes. Edge, Brave and Opera are all built on Chromium, so they can install extensions from the Chrome Web Store. Edge also has its own Add-ons store. Brave and Opera may ask you to allow Chrome Web Store extensions the first time, then the install is identical to Chrome.

Do I need to restart my browser after installing?

Usually no. The extension activates right away. If you already had a roblox.com tab open, refresh it once so the extension can apply its theme and tools to the page. After that it runs automatically whenever you visit Roblox.

Where does the extension icon go?

It lands in your browser toolbar, often tucked behind the puzzle-piece extensions button. Pin it so it stays visible. Clicking it shows what is installed and a switch for classic mode; the feature toggles live on the extension’s own settings page.

Is installing from the store safe?

Installing from the official Chrome Web Store, Edge Add-ons or Firefox Add-ons is the safe path. Those stores review submissions and can pull anything that misbehaves. Avoid installing an extension from a random .zip file or a link in a chat, which skips that review entirely.
